Description
Built by Benetti Shypyard in 1964, she underwent a complete refit, interior and exterior, at the Palumbo yard in 2013 to become the luxury yacht she is today. She offers accommodation for 8 (+2) guests in 4 comfortable suites, plus space for up to 6 crew members. Built in steel, with exceptional seaworthiness, she sails at 10 knots and reaches a top speed of 14.5 knots. The interior is beautiful and extremely modern and chic, the white furnishings perfectly complementing the ash, white lacquered, solid wood furniture and touches of colour. The original engines have been replaced by two new Cummins that guarantee maximum comfort for guests and the best possible fuel efficiency. The aft engine room was redesigned and fitted with modern machinery and equipment. This has reduced the length of the engine room to the benefit of guest cabin space. Insulation and soundproofing were the main requirements of the conversion.
‘Vervece’ is a complex and fascinating project, almost unique for this type of vessel! The idea was to build a vessel capable of satisfying guests who wish to experience unlimited sailing, while preserving the original characteristics of a tugboat.
