Salone Nautico di Venezia 2025

5 June 2025

In the historic naval heart of the Serenissima, just a few kilometers from Levantemare’s headquarters, the sixth edition of the Salone Nautico Venezia has recently come to a close. The Arsenale – now iconic for its uniqueness – was once again transformed into a grand stage that hosted over 300 boats and 270 exhibitors, including 30 from abroad, alongside a rich program of conferences, meetings, and debates.

Promoted by the City of Venice and organized by Vela Spa in collaboration with the Marina Militare Italiana, the event welcomed more than 30,000 visitors, confirming the growing interest and international relevance of the show within the boating sector. Its mission is clear: to consolidate its role in the Eastern Mediterranean, offering an authoritative and innovative meeting point in one of the world’s most significant cities. The Arsenale of Venice, in fact, is a powerful symbol of the city’s naval and commercial might – a place where history, technology, and culture intersect to tell ancient and fascinating stories. Here in the Castello district is exactly where ships were once built, fully enclosed within high walls that offered both protection and secrecy.

Across these five days packed with events, the show explored numerous themes, divided into the yacht, sailing, and electric zones. Not only propulsion systems, but also hull design, interiors, nautical adventures, workshops, talks with prominent guests, and artistic installations – all united by a clear vision: maritime sustainability and collective action toward a greener future. And where better to promote such a vision than in the city that is most deeply immersed in an ongoing ecological transition?

Not merely an exhibition space, the Venice Boat Show proved to be a true hub of knowledge exchange and professional networking, with great anticipation surrounding the many premieres showcased. Among them: the highly awaited Pershing GTX 70, the third model in the Granturismo line, featuring sleek curves, striking power, and a unique owner’s cabin with a sea view; the unveiling of the Ferretti Yachts 940; and the long-anticipated Pardo GT75 – the largest, most iconic, and most powerful model in the line, presented with a wide range of layouts and customization options. The sailing flagship was the luxurious Sunreef 80, while for motor yachts, the jaw-dropping 50-meter Almax by Sanlorenzo stole the spotlight. The event was a true showcase of the finest Made In Italy excellence – a testament to innovation, design, and craftsmanship. Special attention was also given to electric, hybrid, and hydrogen propulsion systems, with many new and innovative models on display.

Anyone who visited the Show can attest to the evocative and thrilling experience of walking among docks and harbors, surrounded by historic pavilions displaying the most prestigious names in Italian and international shipbuilding, alongside the freshest startups. In conclusion, this is not just an event for industry professionals – it is an experience for anyone who loves the sea, technology, art, and beauty. It was an opportunity not only to discover the authentic Venice, deeply connected to its maritime soul, but above all to explore the latest innovations and excellence in the nautical world.
