Description

Beyond is a 25-metre motor yacht, Technema 82 model, built by the Italian shipyard Posillipo-Rizzardi in 2000. Thanks to the work of Hamble Yacht Services Refit & Repair, it underwent a radical transformation in 2015, becoming a modern, luxurious yacht, fully refitted and custom-designed.

Externally, it was repainted with a metallic silver finish, the teak deck was replaced, and underwater LED lighting was installed, along with a backlit name sign, giving the yacht a contemporary and eye-catching look. One of the most significant upgrades was the addition of a custom rigid bimini on the flybridge, handcrafted to include modern, refined seating that gives the boat a distinctive profile. Inside, the original layout was largely preserved, but all wooden panels and furnishings were refinished in glossy white, brightening and refreshing the spaces. The decor was reimagined in a 1970s retro style, featuring pop art elements, gold-trimmed furniture, and boldly patterned fabrics used for carpets, cushions, and wall panels.

From a technical standpoint, all systems were upgraded where necessary. Two Seakeeper stabilizers were installed to reduce roll by up to 80%, along with a state-of-the-art Raymarine electronics package, a modern stainless-steel galley, air conditioning, and LED lighting. The refit focused on integrating the most advanced technologies without compromising on quality. The result is a remarkable transformation: a yacht that blends classic lines with a contemporary soul, and a strong, highly personal identity unlike any other.

Accomodation

The interior layout has remained largely unchanged, but most of the furnishings, fittings, and equipment have been either refurbished or replaced to modernize the space and breathe new life into the vessel. All wooden panels and fixtures have been resprayed with a high-gloss finish, creating a bright white backdrop that is brought to life with bold accents of red and orange. The décor is enriched by classically retro 1970s elements, including Gerald Laing pop art, gold-trimmed furniture, and striking geometric-patterned carpets, cushions, and wall panels.

This 1970s-inspired design is truly one-of-a-kind and tailored specifically to the client’s vision; we are confident there is no other motor yacht quite like it. Every finishing detail has been executed with great care and precision, and each color tone has been carefully selected to create a seamless and cohesive aesthetic. All furnishings are of the highest quality, and authentic 1970s light fixtures were sourced and installed to complete the look.

Despite its vintage style, the vessel is equipped with all the modern conveniences you’d expect, including a fully equipped galley with stainless steel appliances, a designer refrigerator, dishwasher, and washing machine, as well as air conditioning and LED lighting throughout. While many of the original window frames and door fittings have been restored, custom-built Corian toilets and vanity units bring an added touch of luxury to the onboard living spaces.
