Description

The Settantotto, measuring 25 meters in length, is a magnificent example of masterful craftsmanship, built with the utmost attention to detail. It represents a concept of beauty that is both modern and classic—essential yet not minimalist… timeless. Its fluid form, free of sharp edges, conveys a natural sense of balance. The design choices by Christian Grande—who worked in close collaboration with the Naval Research Center—are never excessive, forced, or aggressive. And yet, this model embodies all the power expected of a flagship. Its soft, muscular lines are built to take on the sea in any condition: a flawless hull, a tall, flared bow, and a prominently shaped spray rail.

Moreover, the expressive combination of colors used for the hull and superstructure—with the latter visibly lighter—enhances the yacht’s sleek and sinuous lines, heightening the sense of awe when discovering its spacious layout and generous interior volumes. These interiors are bathed in natural light, as evidenced by the symmetrical openings in the hull, both on the main and lower decks.

Accomodation

The main deck and flybridge offer expansive open spaces, with dedicated areas for socialising and relaxation stretching from bow to stern. An adjacent beach club platform is also featured, providing safe and easy access. The beach deck is equipped with a lifting system that can be raised, lowered, or moved forward. Thanks to the additional surface area provided by the teak-clad garage, the deck can be transformed into a vast terrace overlooking the sea.

The garage compartment offers generous space to accommodate a tender and a jet ski, which can be separated from the beachside area designed for sun loungers. Ample space, elegance, and functionality also define the main deck, where the galley, lounge, and relaxation area are laid out for maximum comfort and usability. A day head is also available on this level—an uncommon feature for a yacht of this size.

To further enhance onboard comfort and enjoyment, every area is equipped with an entertainment and home automation system, easily controlled via smartphone or from the navigation panel, thanks to the Garmin glass cockpit, which provides intuitive access to all onboard systems.

Insulation and soundproofing have been implemented throughout the yacht, with special attention to the engine room. This space has been meticulously designed, with solutions that optimise accessibility, mobility, maintenance operations, and above all, safety. The layout and choice of materials have also been carefully considered, favouring stainless steel, aluminium, and fibreglass fuel tanks to eliminate the risk of leakage or infiltration.

The engine room houses three Volvo Penta D13 inline six-cylinder engines, each capable of delivering up to 1000 HP when needed. Coupled with IPS3 pods, they form a compact, reliable, and highly manageable propulsion system—ideal for a yacht of this class. Two generators are also installed, a solution chosen to increase efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and minimise the risk of technical failure.

All onboard systems, including the fire prevention system, represent the latest advancements in marine technology and are designed and installed to ensure ease of maintenance.

The Humphree system is another standout feature, ensuring optimal stability and configuration both underway and at anchor, thanks to carbon stabilising fins, an interceptor blade, and an electronic control unit capable of making immediate and effective adjustments.
