Accomodation
On the BGX73, a pair of steps lead from the cockpit to the lower saloon, positioned at approximately waterline height. This area is characterised by low seating, large side windows and a large sliding door aft, creating a cosy and atmospheric atmosphere. The starboard gangway, with its glass sides, adds a touch of style. There is a hidden scupper on the sill and a solid panel that can be fitted over the doors, turning into a removable transom to keep the yacht watertight even in bad weather.
The master cabin, located forward of the saloon, is spacious and spans the entire width of the yacht, giving the feeling of a private deck. Thanks to the direct connection to the saloon, the owner can enjoy an exclusive environment. Of course, this layout would require guests to pass through the master cabin to reach the aft salon, but a staircase connecting the salon to the main deck offers a privacy-enhancing alternative! The owner’s cabin features generous space, an elegant study area, a well-organised dressing room, large hull windows and a beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom. There is also a guest cabin with two sliding beds and en-suite bathroom and a VIP cabin with a double bed and dedicated bathroom located forward.
The main deck saloon doubles as a wheelhouse and welcomes guests with comfortable seating and a compact galley. The teak floor and slatted deck give a touch of elegance without sacrificing functionality. The helm station, located on the main deck, offers an excellent view thanks to the commercial-grade windscreens that wrap around the entire wheelhouse. At the centre of the console are the throttle controls, inspired by racing yachts, flanked by twin seats and a series of MFD screens for navigation and performance. From here there is direct access to the port and aft decks, while two separate staircases lead to the lower deck. The walkaround layout of the main deck allows for seamless movement from the aft deck to the forward lounge area, with stairs leading down to the aft lower deck.
Descending to the lower aft deck is a versatile space that serves as both a tender garage and lounge area. The yacht’s high sides extend aft, forming a safe and secure deck with great visual impact. The design team worked hard to bring all the strengths of the innovative BGX73 to a more compact yacht, while maintaining the focus on the owner’s on-board life, privacy and the smooth connection between interior and exterior, a detail usually found on much larger yachts.
