Italian Excellence at FLIBS 2025

28 October 2025

From Wednesday, October 29 to Sunday, November 2, 2025, Fort Lauderdale will once again become the world’s yachting capital as it hosts the FLIBS Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, an event that welcomes thousands of boats of every type, from agile and sporty tenders to the most luxurious yachts and superyachts, displayed along six miles of floating docks. Recognized as the largest in-water boat show in the world, FLIBS spans over 279,000 square meters of exhibition space across seven key locations, including the Broward County Convention Center and the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, a floating complex overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by some of the city’s top attractions.

Amid dream boats, cutting-edge superyachts, and the latest innovations in the marine industry, the event will also feature major representatives of Made in Italy excellence: shipyards, designers, and marine accessory brands showcasing the full value of Italian craftsmanship and tradition. The American market continues to grow, proving to be an ideal stage for exporting the quality, creative elegance, and visionary innovation that make Italy stand out effortlessly on the global scene.

FLIBS is also an occasion where business meets lifestyle, offering on-water performances and showrooms, demonstrations of watertoys and marine accessories, as well as the latest developments in technical components and equipment. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of elegant lounges — the perfect place to relax with a cocktail while admiring the American skyline. So, Florida is not just a stage for yachts and superyachts, but a place where one can truly experience the passion and international spirit of the nautical world, a meeting point for innovation, inspiration, and new challenges.

If Benetti will be celebrating the opening of its new American headquarters at the Pier Sixty-Six Marina, recently renovated to host the new House of Yachting—many new models will also make their debut, highlighting performance and innovation with a strong focus on onboard living spaces and specific design features, such as:

– Outdoor functionality, including beach clubs, hydraulic platforms, increasingly larger and more immersive decks designed to bring guests closer to the sea, and an abundance of natural light integrated into the design from the very first concept stages.

– Sustainable navigation performance with shallow drafts, optimized hulls, and layouts conceived for both leisurely cruising and high-speed adventures.

– Contemporary livability characterized by refined, meticulously designed lines that recreate the comfort of home even while cruising, often in collaboration with renowned international architecture and design studios.

Among the most notable models for us is the Benetti Oasis, displayed along the elegant waterfront area of the House of Yachting, specially designed to welcome clients, brokers, and designers. Featured yachts include the 34M M/Y King’s Lair and the 40M M/Y Contigo. Other exciting premieres include two Sanlorenzo models: the SX100 and the SP92 from the Smart Performance line, measuring 30 and 28 meters respectively. Also making its public debut is the well-known Ferretti 940, featuring a five-cabin layout designed by Filippo Salvetti and IdeaeITALIA, confirming the brand’s strong presence in the premium segment of planing motoryachts. We are also eager to discover the new Princess S80 from the British shipyard—a milestone for the S-Class sportsbridge series making its American debut. Designed by Olesinski Shipyard in collaboration with the Italian studio Pininfarina, it offers a layout of nearly 30 square meters with generous relaxation and social areas.

In short, there are plenty of exciting new launches to explore at FLIBS 2025, perfectly aligned with current market trends and the evolving expectations of modern yacht owners!
